Rewards Programme Terms
These terms govern the Pig & Whistle Hotel rewards programme, operated by [to be confirmed by the venue] ([to be confirmed by the venue]). They apply in addition to our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
1. Joining
A rewards account is created for you when you first order, book or sign up with a mobile number or email address at Pig & Whistle Hotel. Membership is free and there is no minimum spend to join.
2. How you earn points
You earn 1 point for every $1 point for every $1 you spend on eligible purchases. Points are calculated on the amount actually paid for food and drink, including GST. Amounts we do not keep are excluded: delivery fees, surcharges, tips, gift-card purchases, and any part of a bill paid with store credit or points.
Points appear on your account after the order is paid. Your tier, active offers and promotions may earn you additional points; where they do, the extra is stated at the time.
3. What points are worth
100 points is worth $1.00 off your bill. Points have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4. When points expire
If you do not place an order or dine with us for 1 year, your entire points balance expires and returns to zero.
The period is measured from your most recent visit, not from the day each point was earned. Any order or booking resets the period in full and keeps your whole balance.
We will warn you before this happens, at approximately 30, 15 and 7 days before the date, on the mobile number or email address held on your account. We will also tell you afterwards if a balance has expired. If we cannot reach you because the contact details on your account are out of date, the expiry still applies — please keep them current.
Expiry means the points are gone permanently. They are not restored by a later visit, and they cannot be reinstated or bought back. You can see your current balance and your activity at any time on your rewards page.
5. Store credit
Store credit is separate from points. Store credit is spendable in venue only — it cannot be used for online orders, it cannot be exchanged for cash, and it is not a gift card.
6. Tiers
Tiers are reviewed quarterly against your spend over the review period. A tier may carry additional benefits, which are described where the tier is shown. If your spend no longer meets a tier's threshold you may move to a lower tier, and any benefit attached to the higher tier ends with it.
7. Using points
Points are redeemed against a bill at the time of payment, in the amounts we offer on your rewards page. Points cannot be redeemed on a transaction already paid, and a refunded order has its points reversed.
8. Leaving the programme
You may ask us to close your rewards account at any time by contacting us at cheers@pigandwhistlehotel.com.au or (03) 5424 1213. Any points balance is forfeited when your account closes, because points are not redeemable for cash and there is no other way to settle them. Redeem them before you ask us to close the account.
Unsubscribing from marketing messages is not the same as leaving the programme. It stops the messages; your membership, points and the expiry period above continue.
9. Changes to the programme
We may change these terms, the earn rate, the expiry period or the redemption value. If a change reduces the value of points you have already earned, we will give you at least 30 days' notice on the contact details held on your account before it takes effect.
10. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe it has been used fraudulently or in breach of these terms. We will tell you when we do and why.
